Volanté Jones - Director of Volant Life
I've been involved in the dance and fitness industry for over 15 years. My passion for and commitment to dance and fitness is deeply embedded in my desire to see people of all ages achieve their personal and fitness goals by having a healthier life through mind, body, and spirit. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Personal Training Institute, a certified Martial Arts Instructor through Daikidokwando International, and a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I have run and instructed several group fitness programs in Corinth and Jackson, Mississippi, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Maitland, Winter Park, and Orlando, FL. I've choreographed for plays, pageants, pop singing groups, and various community events. I'm currently a professional dancer at The Center for Contemporary Dance and I train private and semi-private sessions. Volant Life grew out of my desire to see a happier, healthier world.
I love being a mom. My three children - one daughter and two sons, ages 10, 6, and 2 are motivation for me in many ways. After my third child, though, I noticed how my age played a big part in the challenge of trying to reclaim the body I had when I was 25. So ladies, I know what you go through! It's also hard when the stress of work and every day life impact weight management. I know because, I've been there too!
Getting started may be a little tough because it will be new, but as long as you're willing to take a step, together we'll make it two. Dancing and being involved in the fitness industry makes me come alive; I absolutely love what I do and have a blast doing it!
